Dear Families,
Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year!  My name is Kimberly Toney and I am the principal at Holmquist Elementary.  I’m extremely excited that I will have an opportunity to work with you and your child this school year.  Holmquist is an excellent school and my staff is eager to begin a new year of learning with your child.  We will continue to educate your child in a safe and nurturing environment while providing them with a solid academic foundation.  We believe that all children are unique and they all are capable of learning.  I encourage you to play an active role in your child’s education by being present at school events, checking homework, communicating with his/her teacher and discussing the importance of having good work habits in school.  We have found that students perform better when there is a positive home and school relationship.  There will be numerous opportunities for you to volunteer on our campus and to attend campus events!
